The Undersecretary of Commerce Affairs Eng. Nader Khalil Al Moayyed met Omani delegation from Public Establishment for Industrial Estates headed by the Director of Communication & Investor Service Centre Mr. Mohammed bin Ahmed Al-Hinai, in presence of Assistant Undersecretary for Commercial Registration and Companies Mr. Ali Maki and Director of Companies Control Mr. Ali Marhoon.
During the meeting, the Undersecretary welcomed the delegation visiting the Kingdom to learn about Bahrain’s experience in the field of service investors through the Bahrain Investors Center, pointing out the close relations between the Bahrain and Oman and their continued cooperation in all fields.
In this context, the Undersecretary explained the delegation on "Sijilat" system, which is an advanced electronic system in registrating and licensing commercial facilities in the Kingdom of Bahrain with full linkage with all electronic systems of the relevant government bodies. He also reviewed the facilities provided by the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism to investors from inside and outside Bahrain. As well as of “Sijili” System, which allows citizens to practice business legally without requiring a shop address.
The Undersecretary of Commerce Affairs confirmed that this system contributed to improve investment environment in the Kingdom of Bahrain, raise investment rates and attract many foreign investments to Bahrain.
