The Ministry of Industry and Commerce has launched the third edition of the “Digital Business Champions Overseas Program for Companies and Factories,” in cooperation with Export Bahrain and Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance (BIBF), with participation from leading and mentoring companies.

The initiative supports the Ministry’s efforts to develop the digital trade sector and boost its role in the digital economy. The program aims to enhance exports through digital trade, prepare companies and factories to adopt digital practices, and promote digital transformation.

According to Mrs. Maram Mukhtar Al-Mahmeed, Director of the Information Systems Directorate, the first two editions attracted over 170 participants from more than 96 entities. The new edition will include factories, reflecting the sector’s importance to economic growth, and will feature a specialized export mentoring session by Export Bahrain.

The program will offer expert-led mentoring sessions on digital trade and exporting, including best practices, challenges, online store development, marketing, logistics, policies and intellectual property protection.
